As product identification regulations tighten, manufacturers face growing pressure to deliver fast, accurate coding and marking across diverse packaging types. HP says HP ThermaCore represents a significant leap forward in TIJ technology, enabling three times the throw distance, twice the print swath, and twice the printing speed of previous TIJ generations. Designed to meet the increasing demands of high-speed packaging and marking applications, HP ThermaCore’s up to 9mm throw distance allows for precise printing on non-flat surfaces, seamless wide-format printing without stitching, and reliable operation in the most challenging production environments.

Meeting Demands of Evolving Industry Standards
As GS1 QR and Datamatrix coding requirements continue to expand globally, HP ThermaCore is designed to keep pace. Its 23mm print swath eliminates the need for stitching, ensuring greater adaptability and efficiency for industries ranging from food and beverage to pharmaceuticals and consumer goods. With printing speeds of up to 120 meters per minute, HP ThermaCore integrates into high-speed packaging and filling lines, ensuring reliability in even the most demanding production environments.

Availability & Presence at SinoPack
ThermaCore became available in November 2024 to select OEMs in the US, Germany, France, Denmark, UK, China, and Japan. It will be sold direct and indirect to specialty printer OEMs, enabling the development of independent solutions for package coding in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) packaging lines.

At SinoPack 2025, exhibitors Meenjet and Sojet, will demonstrate handheld and in-line printers powered by HP ThermaCore, showcasing the technology’s transformative capabilities in real-world applications.
